Who we are

SQUADRIVO is operated by Schvoy Digital Solutions, a sole proprietorship based in Switzerland.

Schvoy Digital Solutions
Wildenbühlstrasse 8
8135 Langnau am Albis
Switzerland

Email: info@squadrivo.com
Website: https://squadrivo.com

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Schvoy Digital Solutions is the data controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal data we collect

Interest and waiting list form

When you submit our interest or waiting list form, we collect the following information:

  • Your name.
  • Your email address.
  • Your selected role or interest category — Club Member, Team Member, Coach, Camp Organizer, Association Administrator, or Other.
  • Your specific role, if you select “Other”.
  • Your organization, if provided.
  • Your newsletter preference, if you actively select the optional newsletter checkbox.

We use this information to understand interest in SQUADRIVO, manage waiting list registrations, respond to inquiries, and communicate with people interested in our services.

Technical and security information

When you visit our website or interact with our services, certain technical information may be processed, such as your IP address, browser and device information, request details, and access or error log information.

This information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain our website and services.

Newsletter information

If you actively opt in to receive news and updates about SQUADRIVO, we process your email address and the information needed to maintain your subscription and record its active or withdrawn status.

The newsletter checkbox is optional and is not selected by default. Submitting the interest or waiting list form does not, by itself, subscribe you to the newsletter.

Purposes of processing

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • To receive and manage interest and waiting list registrations.
  • To respond to inquiries and communicate about SQUADRIVO.
  • To understand which types of individuals and organizations are interested in our services.
  • To send news and updates where you have given the required consent.
  • To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure our website and services.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.

We do not use the information described in this policy to make decisions about you solely through automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Legal grounds for processing

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process personal data on the following grounds:

  • Consent — for example, when you opt in to receive marketing emails.
  • Legitimate interests — such as managing inquiries and waiting list registrations, understanding interest in SQUADRIVO, maintaining and securing our services, and preventing misuse, provided those interests do not override your applicable rights.
  • Pre-contractual steps requested by you — where processing is necessary to respond to a request or take steps at your request.
  • Legal obligations — where we are required to retain or disclose information under applicable law.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Newsletter subscriptions and withdrawing consent

You will receive SQUADRIVO news and updates by email only if you actively choose to subscribe.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the email, where available, or by contacting info@squadrivo.com.

When you unsubscribe, we remove your email address from our newsletter mailing list and deactivate the corresponding marketing consent status in our database.

If you later wish to subscribe again, you must initiate a new subscription and provide a new affirmative indication of consent. An existing interest or waiting list registration does not, by itself, authorize newsletter subscription.

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal requirements.

  • Interest and waiting list records — we delete the original interest or waiting list record two years after the form was submitted.
  • Separate newsletter subscription — if you subscribed to the newsletter, the subscription information necessary to maintain your active subscription may be retained until you unsubscribe. This information is managed separately from the original interest or waiting list record and is not subject to the two-year deletion period for that record.
  • Access and error logs — we retain backend access and error logs for up to one year.
  • Database backups — backups may be retained for up to one year. Information deleted from the active database may therefore remain in a backup until that backup expires or is overwritten, subject to our backup and recovery procedures.

We may retain information for longer where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Service providers

We use third-party providers to operate and secure our website and services, store data, and manage business communications. These currently include:

  • Cloudflare — website delivery, security, and privacy-oriented website analytics.
  • DigitalOcean — hosting and database infrastructure. Our application backend and managed database are hosted in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
  • Google Workspace — business email and management of newsletter mailing-list addresses.

These providers process personal data in accordance with their applicable contractual terms and data processing agreements. Depending on the service and the circumstances, they may process data on our behalf or in other roles described in their terms.

We do not sell your personal data.

International data transfers

Our hosting and database infrastructure is located in the Netherlands. Our service providers may process or access certain information in other countries, depending on their services, infrastructure, and support arrangements.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the applicable contractual arrangements and, where required by applicable data protection law, appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

You can contact us at info@squadrivo.com if you would like further information about the safeguards relevant to a particular transfer.

Cookies and analytics

We use a limited number of cookies for security and to remember your cookie preferences. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used for aggregate website statistics and is designed to operate without analytics cookies.

Our cookie practices, including the purposes and retention periods of individual cookies and how to change your preferences, are described in our separate Cookie Policy and in the cookie settings available on our website.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels as part of the practices described in this policy.

Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, and disclosure. Our measures are designed to reflect the nature of the personal data we process, the purposes of processing, and the risks involved.

We periodically review these measures and take reasonable steps to maintain the security and reliability of our services. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location and the data protection laws that apply, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of your personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to certain processing activities;
  • receive certain personal data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions established by applicable law.

To exercise your rights, contact us at info@squadrivo.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.

If you are in Switzerland, you may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to the processing, you may also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority in your country of residence or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.

Children

Our website and waiting list form are not intended to collect personal data from children in circumstances where parental consent or other authorization is required. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review the situation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our services, data processing practices, or applicable legal requirements. The latest version will be published on our website with its updated date.
